Comfort and nostalgia are the main design elements and the terrace is a great spot to sit and relax with a drink and gaze over the harbor. Visitors particularly enjoy the restaurant. Over by the old harbor and on the Gouwzee Lake is the Hotel Marinapark. This hotel has a beach, indoor pool and its own private marina. This hotel is typical of the many hotels in the town as the rooms are on 2 different floors. In each room you can expect to find alarm clock, television, safe, hifi set and a telephone. Good Food and the Out-of-Doors

The hotel Van Den Hogen is small as it contains 5 luxury rooms. Each room has a great view of the Ijsselmeer and you are in the perfect spot to enjoy boating and nature walks. If you like seafood then have a meal at the restaurant as it is close to the local fish market. The restaurant has been in service for 75 years and is quite famous. Room prices range from $115 to $135 USD per night.

The Van der Valk is outside of the city center towards the country. This hotel has 128 rooms and is in a quiet spot that makes it easy to visit Amsterdam, Marken and Edam. This is the perfect spot for those wanting to canoe, hike, bike or just relax. The hotel has plenty of facilities that include a Turkish steam room, solarium, sauna, indoor pool, fitness center, restaurant, gardens and lounge. Rooms go for about $100 USD per night.
