The Havenmuseum offers an image of the harbour in the heart of Rotterdam. The harbour activities gradually moved to areas like the Botlek, Europoort and the Maasvlakte. These areas are as good as inaccessible for the public. But in the museum you can still have a taste of the typical sphere of the harbour in the old days. The Havenmuseum is a "working" museum. As a result there's always something to see or experience
