Getting There in Nijmegen
Edit This
Nijmegen is about 125 km (which is about 80 miles) to the south east of Amsterdam.
Trains run directly from Amsterdam Central Station to Nijmegen every 30
minutes. The trip takes about one and a half hours. Most accomodation
here is found at the Waalkade, which is, especially in summer, the most
atmospheric area of the city.
The city center is just a 5 to 10 minute walk from the train station (just walk out the station and keep on walking straigt on). You can also go there by bus (2 or 3 stops, costs about 1.3 euro). The bus station, from which not only city buses but also regional buses depart, is located right outside the station.
