As far as food goes, your best choice is the weekly special, which is a sandwich, but the type of sandwich changes each week.

Blonde Pater

This is a nice place to grab lunch or just a quick cup of coffee. Most everybody will be comfortable visiting this busy and delightful café. If you come around noon you can expect a nice wait. Their sandwiches and salads are different from other cafes in town, also highly recommended is the mocha chino.

Café in de Blaauwe Hand

If you visit this café you simply must try a liqueur with whipped cream on top, but the fresh chocolate is also highly desirable. This little spot is a perfect fit for anybody, families included; while it mostly focuses on drinks, they do have limited selection of food. You can order the dish of the day or create your own dish using a card that allows you pick as you see fit.

Café Jos Meesterschenkerij

This café is more for adults who are looking for a nice place to have a few drinks. Café Jos has 16 different kinds of beers to choose from, in addition to their selection of wine, cognac and whiskey. If you are looking for a quick snack to have with your drink you can try the combination platter, which has a few different meats and cheeses, or you can have a plate of croquettes.
