The climate has very radical changes in Hilverson; when To Go should be determined by a few factors. It is pleasant in spring and summer, and very cold with snow in autumn and winter.

Spring

The climate is sunny around 15 to 24°C, although the beginning of the season is still cold most of the time. The Oude Heaven is a city park ideal to visit during the sunny days (located at Kloosterstraat district), where one can sit to read a book, listen to music and watch the people walking their pets.

Summer

This season can either be normally hot or very hot, depending if there are heat waves forecasted. A good suggestion is to visit Anna's Hoeve, a natural reserve dedicated to the Holland fauna. The mayor ordered it's reconstruction, but even during the work phase, it was open for the public.

Autumn

The trees unanimously lose all their leaves during this season. Generally it's not cold, but when it turns. it's good to spend the time in enclosed places since the temperature drops from 5 to 12°C. The Bowling center at Noordsebosje #25 offers bowling on teams, dinning and hot and cold buffets.

Winter

Winters are snowy and cold in Hilversum. The town city council usually orders the massive use of salt to combat the snow. The temperatures can reach -9°. Tourists can visit Theater Achterom located at Eemnesserweg 7a, a theater that displays cabaret, music and drama. It has temperature control perfect for the winter.
