Stempels

A very central location, this historic complex of two restaurants and a hotel: at the foot of the St. Bavo church.  For many years the Dutch banknotes have been printed here, as well as post stamps - hence the name 'Stempels'.

All the hotel rooms have very good beds (I believe Hästens), internet, and they are all different. My parents stayed here once and they were very enthousiastic. They had a room with high windows overlooking the St. Bavo complex. Prices are quite reasonable.
