Festivals in Leeuwarden

Bevrijdingsfestival

Every year on the 5th of May there are free festivals in the Netherlands. Since Leeuwarden is the Capital of Friesland, is Leeuwarden the place where the festival is being held in Friesland. The whole day artists are playing on different stages.
There's a small stage in a park called the "Prinsentuin" and next to that park is the "Oldehove" where the main stage is.
