The capital of the province of Fryslân, Leeuwarden, is situated 20 kilometres east, but the picturesque port Harlingen and the Wadden Islands are also worth paying a visit. De Stadsherberg is a small inn with 7 modern rooms. Close to the centre of Franeker (approx. 5 minutes). Most rooms have a beautiful view at the city. Our restaurant is well known in town and is located near the waterside.
