Bloemendaal is a popular seaside resort about 30 km from Amsterdam. The beach is pretty much the same as in Zandvoort but there are more popular beach clubs in Bloemendaal. The disadvantage of Bloemendaal is that you can't get there by direct train from Amsterdam, so you have to take the bus.
According to a survey by the Dutch magazine Elsevier, Bloemendaal is the wealthiest town in the Netherlands measured by mean income.
