National Park De Hoge Veluwe is one of the Netherlands' oldest and largest national parks. It consists of no less than 5,500 hectares of woodland, heathland, lakes and driftsand. Together with the Kroller-Muller Museum and the sculpture garden it offers a unique combination of nature, art and architecture.
De Hoge Veluwe is a park where visitors can still find plenty of space and peace. Where you can walk undisturbed for hours, or cycle using one of the free white bicycle. It is home to many endangered plant and animal species. Have you ever come face to face with a red more..

Burgers' Zoo
Edit ThisOutside Arnhem you find the Burgers' zoo. Besides hundred animal species there are some really good projects in this zoo. On of them is a new project about marine life ('Burgers' Ocean') in tropical oceans and its nearing its final stages. Burgers' bush, another must-see project is the Burgers' bush; it looks and feels (even smells) like a real tropical rainforest and you here you see beautiful birds, waterfalls, tropical plants and rocks. Also worth seeing is Burgers' Desert-project that simulates a desert-environment. For more..
