Explore Bruges
Edit This
This Gothic city is a major tourist attraction that can be enjoyed for a few hours, but a full 1-2 days here is highly recommended. The town is popular for shopping, museum tours, bike riding and horse-buggy tours, canal tours, and dining. Points of interest include: the bell tower on Market Square, Gruuthuse Museum, the Church of Our Lady (see Michelangelo’s Madonna and Child), Burg Square, the De Halve Maan Brewery tour, and Groeninge Museum. The bell tower on Market Square offers spectacular views of Bruges – but you have to climb it first so wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water. www.brugge.be.
