Birdwatching close to Amsterdam
Edit ThisJust 40 km outside Amsterdam is the nature reserve Oostvaardersplassen. It is a good place to go Birding. There are eurosian spoonbills, white tailed eagles and many other bird species. You can also see deer, heck cattle and foxes.
You can go by your own, but you will need a rental car or hire a local bird guide who meet you at station Almere Buiten (30 minutes from Amsterdam Central)
