Alex bed breakfast The Flying Chef / De Vliegende Kok is a bed and breakfast accommodation located on a quiet canal just outside the exciting center of Amsterdam.  We offer two benb rooms each with its own art deco character. Bed and breakfast is renovated in 2005 and accommodates two rooms: The Klimt suite offers a King Size bed (220x 200 cm) at the waterfront of the 1895 bed and breakfast accommodation. The BlueGreen Room offers a boxspring (180x 200 cm) on a 12m2 room.Both rooms have a coffee corner and table and chairs, flat screen TV and WIFI and wardrobes on the room. Elaborate breakfast is served in the modern art kitchen or in the garden.

As the owner is a chef, you can enjoy typical Amsterdam or New Dutch Cooking, Italian or French diner, winetasting or workshops cooking. Your breakfast is served in our romantic kitchen or garden, in which Dutch contemporary art is exhibited.

East Watergraafsmeer is one of the most multicultural districts of Amsterdam. All kinds of restaurants, shops and a market are nearby. Shops, restaurants, public parcs are nearby. Public pool is at 100 meter from the Bed en Breakfast. You can rent a bike (50 meter) nearby to go around like the Dutch do. The Zoo (Artis) is 2 tramstops away. Payed street parking in front of the BenB is possible.
