Cruises in Chisinau
Edit ThisThere’s one particular cruise that is much talked about when it comes to Chisinau Cruises in Moldova. This cruise is aboard the Princess Elena that has comfortable accommodations for nearly 150 passengers.
The Voyage
This ship takes you on a pleasurable cruise down the Black Sea. It sets sail from port Giurgiulesti in Chisinau, Moldova and takes you on a seven-day voyage to Istanbul, Turkey. If you’re staying in Chisinau you should make advance pick-up and drop off arrangements to get to Port Giurgiulesti and back. On an average, a round-trip cab ride will cost you around 91 euros. You also have the option of booking a mini-bus to the port of call, but that’s a good option, only if you’re traveling with a big group of friends or family.
Accommodations Onboard the Princess Elena
Accommodations vary from decent two-, three- and four-bed cabins to luxury rooms and presidential suites. You can expect to pay nearly 205 euros per person for a round trip cruise of seven-days and six-nights in a fpir-bed cabin or nearly 1300 euros per presidential suite, on a round trip journey. This includes breakfast, lunch and dinner on the ship and breakfast and dinner, when the ship touches port in Istanbul. This cruise is ideal for families. Children below the age of five travel for free (except meals) while those between six and 12 years of age get a 50 percent discount on all meals. Once in Istanbul, there are plenty of things to do and discover like Saint Sophia’s Palace and a visit to the Big Market. If you’re looking for some fun by night, you could also step into Night Istanbul. It’s an upscale restaurant with belly-dancing shows.
