Malta is an island of mystery and has awe inspiring structures on Earth.  It is blessed with one of the most advanced cultures who left a timeless legacy.  It is extremely imaginative to perceive how tiny Malta started the Neolithic Temple building revolution in the Mediterranean, culminating in the spectacular evidence of the temples. 

Would it be a quantified hypothesis, knowing that Malta was in the helm in disseminating civilization all over the Middle sea, just like mythical Atlantis was regarded as the archetypal empire out of which all other empires emerged?

The Megalithic Temples are unique both in quantity – 26 remains scattered around the Archipelago- and in quality of the construction.  Huge megaliths were constructed using the most primitive of tools.

It is so impressive that some scholars insists that the remarkable traces of workmanship found in these sites was the result of superior beings.  Other with UFO fixation are wholeheartedly believers that this was the results of aliens who came from the stars. 

The Temples give rise to important mysteries, of prehistoric culture and civilization that marks a very organized and cohesive society. 

The extrapolation and thesis of what we know about the Temples and the Temple Biulders have been inferred from the remains they left behind.  The evidence is not substantial and does not give us a clear explanation why the spectacular edifices were erected.

Many ancient monuments are thought to have a connection with astronomy, the study of space and celestial objects. The acceptance of these theories varies, and the Maltese temples are no exception.

As a form of ritual the temples remain unique and are the earliest examples of free-standing stone architecture known to date.  People invested the vast majority of their time, energy and resources to give rise to a culture centred around complex forms of worship epitomized in stone.
