Ljubanista beach

The best beach in Ohrid is Ljubanista Beach (named after the village) located about 25Km south from the center of the city(about 25 minutes driving by car). The beach has very beautifull golden sand, clean water with pleasant temperature and picturesque surrounding (it lies just beneath Galicica mountain). There is a small snack bar if you need a drink or something to eat, and not so far away there are toilets, showers and store. Also one part of the beach is Auto-camp so you can rent a cabin or place your own equipment (if you have one) and spend the night close to the waves. And when you finish your day at the beach, just before you go home, visit the monastry of St.Naum (only 3Km away from this beach). There you can rest your eyes  and mind in the beautifull nature and feel the deep historycal and cultural roots of this region.
