Munshausen (Luxembourgish Munzen) is a commune (Gemeng) in northern Luxembourg, bordering Clervaux to the north. Except for the old village Munshausen, mentioned already in the 9th century, the commune also includes Drauffelt, Marnach, Roder and Siebenaler. The commune is set in a typical Ardennes landscape with roling hills and steep valleys.

Munshausen village has an old church from the 13th century, the patron of which is the missionary St. Hubert. In Marnach a building for cultural activities called Cube 521 has recently been erected. It has an auditorium for about 300 persons.

For most tourists the major reason for going to Munshausen is the “Touristic Domain” where the Ardennes draft horse is demonstrated by knowledgeable staff as well as other features of old village life. It is a popular place, particularly for children.

There are several walking trails in the area. Among them there is one that starts in Munshausen village and leads through Siebenaler and Drauffelt and back to Munshausen (9 km). There are other trails leading from Marnach or Roder into the oak and beech forests close to the German border.
