Going by train

Edit This
The best way to go to Siauliai, if you don not have a car, is by Rail. There is one main railway which crosses all the country from the East to the West side including such towns as Vilnius, Kedainiai, Jonava, Radviliskis, Siauliai, Telsiai, Plunge and then Klaipeda(the last station near the sea). All in all the length is 376km and it tooks 5 hours. Train goes three times a day all the week. From Vilnius 7:00,17:00,23:00 and another from Klaipeda 6:55,17:05,21:35. Siauliai is in the middle of their way. From Vilnius it tooks about three hours, from Klaipeda about two hours. So, what you actaully need is to go to Vilnius/Klaipeda railway station before the train leaves, buy a ticket(reservation is rarely needed,price~25Lt(7,20 Euros)) and get on the train.Have a nice trip!Find more (timetables) at www.litrail.lt/KelEN.nsf.
