The best way of getting a taxi in Vilnius is dialing one of the short numbers 1411, 1444, 1421, etc. If you take a taxi cab in the street, probably you will have to pay double price for your trip.  (If you are in a hurry - just find a cab and dial a number shown on the side of the car - you are usualy told to get inside it, and you save some money)
