There are many Kaunas Bars and Cafes where people can enjoy a good drink. Most bars and cafe have a nice crowd where tourists can have a good time.

City Cafe

Located at Laisves #56, the interior has intense red pillars and colorful wooden furtniture. The City Cafe’s menu includes espresso for 9 LTL ($3 dollars), capuchino 12LTL ($4 dollars) among other drinks of sort.

City Cafe hosts local band stage performances on weekends to entertain customers. There is a basement with faint lighting used by customers who wish to have a more private meeting, or dining experience.

Arbatine

Located at Laisves aleja #100, hours of operation are from 9:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m on Saturdays.  Arbatine holds a reputation for being strictly vegetarian. 

Arbatine offers sandwiches, smoothies and many kinds of salads. A sandwich with a coffee costs around eight LTL ($2.80 USD), which is very cheap for the area that the cafe is located. Locals claim that  Arbatine is the best cafe in the city. Menu’s in English are available upon request.

Jums Cafe Restaurant

Located at Aisveis Aleja #61, Jums Cafe allegedly has one of the best coffee shops in Kaunas. Besides the best cup of coffee in town, the menu includes delicious beef teriyaki and champagne chicken. The furniture is of a modern style, with art covered walls and the ceiling is decorated with grass contrasting. Espresso goes for 12 LTL ($4.00 USD) and capuchino 15LTL ($5.00 USD).

Avilio Terrace Bar Taste

Avilio Terrace Bar offers authentic Lithuanian beer at this relaxing open-air bar. Located below the Avilys restaurant at Vilniaus gatve #30.  Avilio Terrace Bar Taste bar is built inside a cellar, It serves blackberry cake, Lithuanian crepes and beer brewed on the local itself. Locals are already seated at the bar by 9:00 p.m. on the dot every day. Casual dressing is fine, for there is no dress code. This is one of the most amazing Kaunas Bars and Cafes.

Crazy House Bar

Crazy House Bar is a unique kind of bar located at Vilniaus #16. Crazy House Bar opens from 11:00a.m. to midnight. Seating at Crazy House Bar is of two kinds, pneumatic-made which move by themselves, and lavatories.

There are cushions scattered everywhere on the pub on the floor and a terrace is there for those looking for a bit of fresh air to contemplate the landscape outside. The beers are served very cold for $12 LTL ($4 dollars). Crazy House bar is one of the most comfortable Kaunas bars and cafes.
