Schaan is particlarly significant, because it has Liechtenstein's only youth hostel (considered part of the Swiss system) opened except winter (closed Dec.-Feb.). Bus or train transport comes within a 10 minute walk (possibly longer).

The Lonely Planet guide notes the Hotel Post next to the post office and bus terminal which is also across the street from the Internet cafe.

Another hotel, also for meals, at the intersection of the Vaduz-Buch roads is the Hotel Linde (which is probably related to the older Hotel Linde in Vaduz, now closed). The Hotel Linde has an Internet terminal up stairs on the 2nd floor.
