Honestly, Mazsalaca is not much of a shopping hot-spot, but it does have an outdoors market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. And I meen "mornings", as the trade is over by about 8 in the morning. The first sellers arrive as early as a little after 5am, and the costumers are there already. Seasonal produce, fish from the seaside, and honey is available.  The market is located on a large field just east of the central intersection.
