This charming square uses to be the governmental centre of Verona for many centuries. The 12th century Palazzo del Comune and the Palazzo dei Tribunali are impressive buildings facing the square as well as the Torre dei Lamberti and the beautiful Loggia del Consiglo from the early Renaissance. In the middle stands the Dante monument.
