Euganean Hills are an area rich in character, from hill to
hill, along the Wine Route, the landscape is a succession of perfect
geometry of vineyards, villages and medieval castles, Palladian villas
and monasteries, all surrounded by lush vineyards and oak and chusnuts woods.
The 'Parco Regionale dei Colli Euganei' created to protect this zone of volcanic hills formed 35 million years ago, has a special guide of over 200 paths and routes for exploring the zone. Most are signposted and are perfect for excursions on foot or by bike.
