There are a number of things to do in Lido di Jesolo and visitors will not be disappointed. The obvious outdoor activity is the wonderful long sandy beach where people can frolic, lie in the sun, swim and enjoy the feeling of the long hot summer.

But there are other activities as well and here are a few of them. 

Acqualandia

This world-class water park, located right in Lido di Jesolo, brings people from all over the world to enjoy the Caribbean island feel of the themed facility and the many activities that the park offers. For instance, visitors will be wowed by the dancers on the galleon in the middle of the man-made water feature. There is also Latin dancing and a miniature golf course with waterfalls and lakes. Other activities include diving lessons, spinning and water games.

There is truly something for everyone of all ages. And for the youngest, the park offers circus shows and animations to keep them busy while adults relax and enjoy the other facilities.

The cost is about the same as a visit to Disney World, and visitors should definitely bring a bathing suit.

Lake Garda

There is so much to explore near Lake Garda that you will probably want to make more than just 1 visit. The largest lake in Italy, it features wonderful towns, medieval castles, sandy beaches and so much more. The area has its own amusement park, called Gardaland, and it is the largest  in Italy. You will definitely want to check out Gardaland and enjoy its many rides, shows and shops. In addition to Gardaland, visitors will enjoy stopping by the town of Bardolino, where thermal baths will enliven even the most exhausted of traveler. Then, visit Peschiera del Garda, which is surrounded by 16th century walls. Le Grotte di Catulla has the Roman ruins of the prominent Catulla family and travelers will want to stop by the medieval castle that is located in Malcesine. The cathedral in Salo will be of definite interest as well as the town which features pastel houses.

Most spots are accessible by train, while others are accessible by hydrofoil, catamaran and ferry. In addition to ferries that only take people, there are car ferries that go back and forth between the farthest parts of the lake.
