Getting There in Lido di Jesolo
Edit ThisThe beach town of Lido di Jesolo is located in the north of Veneto. This beautiful beach community dates back to the Roman era and it still highly popular. Getting to Lido di Jesolo is quite easy.
Getting There by Car
Visitors of Venice, Treviso, Verona or Triestre are a short drive away to Lido di Jesolo on the A4 highway heading north. The exit to Lido di Jesolo is the one that says "Noventa di Pave". If you are driving from as far as Milano or Brennero, then you need to still take the A4 highway but head in the direction of Tessera/Jesolo and then take the exit Tessera Airport/Venice.Getting There by Rail and Bus
If driving is not your cup of tea during your vacation, then the Italian train is just for you. From other Italian cities or other cities in neighboring countries, find a train route that leads you to the rail station in Mestre. From the Mestre rail station, head across the street to the Mestre bus station, where you can choose from a couple bus companies such as ATVO to reach Jesolo in about an hour. Your bus will drop in the Piazzale Picchi of Lido de Jesolo. Once at Piazzale Picchi , you'll be able to choose from several bus routes, depending on your final destination. A good idea is to buy the 16 euros bus ticket which allows to ride the bus all day.
Getting There by Plane
Lido di Jesolo doesn't have its own airport, however there are two main airports nearby. There are the Marco Polo International Airport in Venezia and the San Giuseppe Airport in Treviso. From these two airports, the Marco Polo International Airport (IATA code: VCE) is the better choice because not only is it more accessible by more international airlines than the one in Treviso, but also it is closer to Lido di Jesolo. The airport offers bus routes to Lido di Jesolo. Also, the airport has several car rental agencies, both domestic and international.
