Taking a gondola ride through many of the charming canals that connect the different parts of Venice is also a must.

Another part of Venice that is a popular spot is Murano Island, where glass blowers create beautiful items using the skills that have been passed down to them from generation to generation.

Its most important attraction is the Scrovegni Chapel, which was created by Giotto and is considered to be his masterpiece. Visitors will be impressed by the cobbled streets that speak of this city’s past, as well as the lively market places that have attractive local goods for sale.

It's also a city for opera lovers with its Roman Arena, where operas and other concerts are performed. The medieval city also has many archeological sites. All of this, plus the stone streets lined with palazzos, will enchant the visitor.
