Beaches in Punta Ala
Edit ThisThe private beaches are called "Lido" or "Bagni" and for a fee you can have a beach lounge, bathrooms, showers, an umbrella, a changing room and other services. The public beaches are found in between the private beaches and are free to enter.
There is a small beach to the left of the port and then southwest of the port there are miles and miles of sandy beach. Eventually this turns into coves of sandy beaches accessable only by sea or inland.
The rocky beaches are in between the sandy beaches and on the points of land that extend a bit out. Be sure to wear rubber sandals on those rocks!

Cala Violina
Edit ThisKnown as "Violin Cove" because when you walk on the white quartz grain sand after certain meterological conditions it sounds like the squeaking of a violin. You can access this beach from the sea or by way of Puntone in a car, on a bike or horse or on foot. There is a narrow footpath from Punta Ala Camping Resort or you can just wade through the water from the Camping Resort.
