Once in Palermo you just have to try the local specialties – it’s not only pizza and pasta. But Sicilian pizza and pasta is more than you expect from it: plain and fresh and incredibly delicious. For going out in the evening most people head for the resort of Mondello, 11km away and connected by regular bus no. 806. But you don’t have to leave the inner city to enjoy good food.
