Cefalu is a small city on the Northern coast around half way between
Messina and Palermo. It is the location at which the FIlm Il Nuovo
Cinema Paradiso was shot. The water front is nice with many
restaurants. There is a cathedral and the city has been inhabited
by a multitude of nationalities as is usual of Sicilian cities.
