This city is situated on the coast of Sardinia, which allows it to be a perfect port to receive all kinds of imports. The same type of set up, like small shops and boutiques, is found in Cagliari, as it is in other Italian cities. There are several sections of the city that are more suited to specific types of merchandise being sold. No matter what amount of money you have to spend here, there is always a bargain at hand, plus a great time waiting for you.

Shopping on the Via Roma

Shopping opportunities are mostly in the Old City District of the city. The Via Roma is the best known portion of the district to go shopping. All along the venue, there are boutiques and shaded arcades that will offer a pleasant diversity of merchandise for you to buy. You can find ceramic pottery, hand carved items, and the much sought after gold filigree here.
