The most exuberant example of Leccese baroque. Fantastic monsters amd caryatids adorn the facade. Inside the altar by Zimbalo sr. is wonderful.

The cathedral was completed in 1670 and was designed by Giuseppe Zimbalo one of the most famous architects of the Lecce style. The interiro mostly dates from the 18-th century.
