Gravina in Puglia Travel Guide
Edit This The best resource for sights, hotels, restaurants, bars, what to do and see Gravina has its name from the deep ravine bordering the town. In the sides of the ravine there are abandoned cave dwellings, similar to those found in Matera – but with fewer tourists. There is also a large cave church, San Michele dei Grotte. The town itself is interesting with narrow streets in the old town and baroque palaces.
