Talking about food, real Italians native to Italy eat only two main meals a day. foam of milk in coffee (cappuccino) is definitely a morning ritual for Italians. When dining Italian style, don't rush through your courses: learn the art of slowly enjoying your meal over a bottle of wine (for adults) and good conversation. Basically, Italian cuisine is a combination of vegetables, grains, fruits, fish, cheeses and a scattering of meats. The most popular main dish by far is pasta including spaghetti, fettuccine, farfalle, penne. Some popular desserts include gelato (ice cream), cannoli, tiramisu and biscotti.
