Milan’s history goes back to 400 B.C., when Gauls settled and defeated the Etruscans against Celts who were about to overrun the city. Italy's biggest region is Milan and it is one of the most stylish region. In 222 B.C  Milan was conquered by Rome. Around 1421 Milan had tried to conquer Florence but failed.
