Lazise Travel Guide
Edit This The best resource for sights, hotels, restaurants, bars, what to do and seeLazise is a small and charming town. It once was am important naval town and the Venetians maintained a powerful presence here. It was the most important post of the Venetians on the shores of the Lago di Garda.
The main attractions include the city walls, with colorful frescoes and intricately carved statues imbedded in the sides, The Scaliger castle and the Venetian Customhouse. Today, the castle is privately owned and linked with the olds customs house they make an attractive corner of the lake.
Lazise is also quite an easy going place, with nice bars and good places where you can taste the excellent local wines and there are always a few slices of spicy local salami to sample.
