Demographics

Brescia is the second largest city in the region of Lombardy, with a population of almost 200,000 residents. The vast majority of the people are Italian in origin and speak the Italian language. In Brescia, you can exchange your money in banks, post offices or by using one of the numerous ATMs around the streets. The banks work from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will charge you a small commission fee of no more than 5 euro. Post offices have a similar schedule and will charge you with smaller fees. Credit and debit cards are accepted in all bigger establishments, too.
