San Tomè Church and Convent

San Tomè is a circular Romanesque temple built around the XII century adjacent to a restored convent located on the cliff above the Brembo River in a forest of chestnuts in the community of Almenno San Bartomoleo. It has a cross-shaped opening which lights up the altar during the spring eqinox.
