Malpensa Airport to Bergamo by train and subway
Edit ThisTo avoid the traffic on the autostrada you can take a train (Malpensa Express - Ferrovie Nord Milano) from the Malpensa Airport Terminal 1 to "Cadorna" train station in Milan City (Milano Stazione Cadorna). If you are in Terminal 2, then there are shuttle buses between Terminal 1 & 2.
The train leaves from the lower ground floor in Terminal 1 and takes about 40 minutes to Milan City. The ticket costs €11 one way(€13.50 if you buy it on the train) and less for children. Then take a taxi or the subway (5 stops away on the green Metro line) to the Central Train Station of Milan just a few minutes away. The train from Stazione Centrale Milano to Bergamo costs less than €4 and takes around 50 minutes. Of course you can use this method from Bergamo to Malpensa Airport!
