Funicular to San Vigilio

Take the Funicular up to San Vigilio for a breath-taking view of Città Alta Upper Town. Once in Città Alta go to Colle Aperto near La Marianna Ristorante and pass through the giant open door Porta Sant'Alessandro gate of the City Walls. The funicular and cafe bar are on the right. The funicular goes up along the outside of the City Walls to San Vigilio where you can find three restaurants with bars and one with an outside bar in the summer time with a view of the Upper Town. There is a church, a castle and many beautiful walks to take.
