An excellent city bus map and schedules (linee e orari) may be found in the office in Porta Nuova or at the internet address below. Bus 1C is the Airport bus (aeroporto), €1.55 one way including a 20x40x60 cm size suitcase (larger suitcases require another ticket) and good for 90 minutes from the time of validation. It leaves every half hour from 6:00 to 24:00 and only takes 15 minutes to get to the town of Bergamo. It is tariff C and is good for three zones. So you can use it for the Line 1 bus which goes from the train station, past Porta Nuova to the Città Alta funicular. This line  number 1 also connects to many other lines you may need to use.

A T tariff tourist ticket good for three days is €6.00 and it includes the funiculars - one up to Citta Alta and another one even further up to San Vigilio. And the different airport bus tickets may be purchased outside the arrivals area of the airport to the left at "Zani", Porta Nuova and the Train station from automatic ticket machines and then at the Bus Station Ticket Window, (Stazione Autolinee Biglietteria).

Also a Q tariff ticket good for one whole day round trip (return trip) from the airport and good all day on the urban zones (all tickets to be validated one time in the machine on the bus on the day of use as soon as you get on) is €4. Otherwise once you are established in town then one city bus ticket is €1 if you stay in the center zone of town (on the map it is zone 00.)

Bus tickets are also for sale in the train station to the right before you exit out the glass doors. On this internet site are listed more addresses for buying ATB bus tickets. You have to buy the ticket before getting on the bus.
