The market includes several clothing shops where you can get Polo and Lacoste shirts and t-shirts for a fraction of what you will pay elsewhere in Italy. Another popular part of the market is the leather bag section.

You probably would never have thought of cheese shopping but Ventimiglia is a great place to shop for cheese. The Friday market will give you a chance to buy cheese at very cheap prices compared to what you will pay back home. Pick up some of your favorite cheese to take with you you on a picnic.
