It is situated to the east of the inaccessible Cape Noli and in the past it took advantage of an excellent creek, mentioned in the old portulans.
Close to the coast there are some woody high grounds, destination of trips and hikes. In the latest years the traditional activities based on fishery have been considerably retrenched because of the increasing of tourism, favoured by the suggestive beauty of the place and by the historical importance of its various monuments.
