A selection of hotels and "pensioni" (smaller type of hotels with generally only few but right services) is present in town mainly concentrated in the center or near the two (Principe and Brignole) railway stations. It is generally advisable to book in advance and with a large amount of time if you plan to come for the boat show in october as it is almost impossible to find a place even in the nearby villages and towns. Quite a lot accept small pets and have facilities for the handicapped. There are no camping in town but just in the outskirt and there is a youth hostel.
