Festivals and major annual events of many types are held all around Albenga. An important car rally called "Monti savonesi"(Savona mountains) is held generally on May. Another car event "The 500 Fiat meeting" is held on June and has estimators coming from all over Europe and sometime from other continents.

In December a well known piano music festival takes place with musicians from all over Italy. Concerts are held on open air together with many local religious festivals and "sagras" during summertime. Flowers, vegetables and wines - the "Pigato wine, the most interesting, is held in September - specialised fairs are held on the during the year but they change date in accordance to other main regional events.
