Economy in Albenga
Edit ThisCeriale economy is mainly based on tourism, agriculture and fishing. While agriculture found its main production on vegetables, flowers, olives and grapes which are cultivated in its "piana" a very advanced way, fish is still "fished", through the ancient way, throwing the nets into the sea and not using farmed fish. Quality varies depenfing on the season.
The panoramic view of the plain shown (on the general section) that it is characterized by lots of farms scattered all over and a continuous extent of glass-houses for flower cultivation. The lower hills show extensive vegetable and fruit-farming vineyards. Tourism is now becoming more and more important and now a particular effort is put on to prepare the town to offer its best during sumertime with its nice beaches and campings for every taste and money.
