Top 5 Must Do's in Rimini
Edit ThisWhen you visit Rimini, you are going to be located very close to the center of the Adriatic River. While you are visiting, you must make sure you take part in the Rimini Must Do’s, which will help you find something for everybody on the trip.
Gambalunga Library
This is a must do in Rimini for any book lover. The building of the library was built back in 1610, but inside it houses one of the most impressive book collections in the world. Inside of the Gambulunga library, you will find at least 200,000 books, some of them rare manuscripts and original editions from the 16th Century. This was the first public library in Italy and now it has added a free Wi-Fi for patrons.
Piazza Tre Martiri
If you are interested in Roman history this is a must do because, according to local legend, this is where Julius Caesar made his speech to soldiers that lead to the war against Rome as he made the decision to cross the Rubicon river. The Piazza Tre Martiri is located in the middle of Rimini.
Beaches
Rimini has over 15 km of beaches, which are a must do especially in August, when life exists only at the beaches. Before going to the beach, you will want to determine if you wish to visit a paid or free beach. The paid beaches offer children’s activities and sun loungers, while the free beaches offer lifeguards and toilets.
Carnaby
If you have come to Rimini to take part in the active nightlife, one of the best clubs you can go to is Carnaby. It is comprised of three floors of nonstop music and dancing; the style of music and loudness of the music will depend on the floor you are visiting. The Lounge, which is located on the third floor, also serves some great cocktails at a great price.
Osteria de Bor
Eating is a big deal in Italy, so it is only fitting that one of the Rimini must do’s is visiting the restaurant called Osteria de Borg. If you are dining here, it is recommended that you try out the summer starters, which includes some nice cheeses and good crostini. For a main entrée, the beef fillet and medallions are always a good choice.
