Shopping in Rimini
Edit ThisIt is always fun to bring home some souvenirs and local merchandise
from your fantastic trip, so if you are planning to visit Rimini you
must take note of the best Rimini Shopping areas. The
amazing city of Rimini in the Emilia-Romagna region offers a wide range of
shopping opportunities for business and leisure travelers alike. From
high-class fashion boutiques to small craft stores, name it and Rimini
has it.
Corso d'Augusto
Corso d'Augusto is one of Rimini’s main streets and it is located at the
crossroad of Decumano and Cardo Massimi, near the center of the city. You will find several shops and boutiques here and this is one of the
popular shopping areas in town. You can pick up branded clothing,
pottery and other crafts at several of these shops. Popular brands that
can be easily spotted in Corso d’Augusto are Gucci, Prada, Armani and
Dolce and Gabbana.
Marina Centro
Another popular shopping destination in Rimini is the Marina Centro.
This is a famous seaside area along the seafront of Torre Pedrera and
Miramare. This area has numerous stores selling a wide range of items
ranging from clothes to hand crafted items. Although most of the
products sold here cater to the beach goers, you can still find the
traditional shop and craft stores that offer great deals and local
products for souvenirs.
Piazza Malatesta and Piazza Cavour
Piazza Malatesta and Piazza Cavour are popular for both locals and
tourists. The largest open-air street market in Emilia-Romagna takes
place in Piaza Malatesta every Wednesday and in Piazza Cavour every
Friday. You will find a vast collection of antiques, handcrafted items,
clothing and jewelry. Though the main market days are filled with shops,
you will also be able to find a few antique shops and stalls open
almost every day here.
'Le Befane' Shopping Mall
'Le Befane' Shopping Mall is a popular shopping mall in Rimini. It
houses 130 local and international shops like Sisley, United Colors of
Benetton, Zara, Promod and Intimissimi as well as cafés, restaurants
and a multiplex cinema. This modern shopping mall also hosts special
events and shows in the entertainment area. It has an easy access to the
railway station, buses and other public transportation.
Viale Ceccarini
Viale Ceccarini is a popular shopper’s haven in Rimini. Here, you can
find the latest fashion trends and designer merchandise like bags,
shoes, belts and clothing. You might want to stop by here before you
