Public transport in Rimini is very handy and easy. The municipal bus company TRAM links the entire urban and suburban area of the city and province of Rimini. The best-known urban route is the one that connects the city centre, with Riccione, passing through the beachfront promenade area, Bellariva, Marebello, Rivazzurra and Miramare. The route has been extended to include Riccione's spas. Passengers may reach not only Santarcangelo, but also Torre Pedrera, Bellaria-Igea Marina and even San Mauro Mare. There are 15 routes linking every corner of Rimini's territory and they all stop at the Railway Station.

Coaches destined for San Marino, Morciano di Romagna, Cattolica, the airport, Savignano and Torriana all leave from station as well. One hundred metres from the station there is also the Ferrovie Padane bus line station, which is the starting point for coaches going to destinations in Valmarecchia, Upper Valmarecchia and Montefeltro where there are interesting places to visit, such as Verucchio, Pennabilli, Sant'Agata Feltria and Carpegna. Other private bus lines widen the choice of excursion alternatives, with destinations that include Montegrimano Terme, Mercatino Conca, Montescudo and all the other principal localities in the Valconca area.
