Festivals in Rimini

Rimini is known for the place where seaside tourists in Italy and nightlife meet in addition to the fabulous Rimini Festivals that take place throughout the year. January to March
In January, the New Year events last for a number of days and include several opera performances. The SIGEP exhibition displays many different bakery goods and ice creams as well demonstrations.
Throughout February, the Rimini Fiera hosts the trade show that features the latest in fashion for men and women. The Crossroads Jazz Festival also opens and lasts until the beginning of summer.
In March, La Fogherraccia is the festival that reveals the winter’s end. There are many bonfires that are lighted across the city to feast the day of Saint Joseph throughout Rimini.
April to June
In April, Paganello, occurs during Easter in which many competitors vie to attain the Paganello Cup. This event is also celebrated with concerts of jazz, entertainment for kids and several activities on the beach.
In May, the Balconi Fioriti, celebrates the spring time with several flowers decorating the balconies throughout Rimini.
June ushers in BluRimini, which offers regattas, races and entertaining theater shows. The Gradisca is the grandest of Rimini festivals in the summertime, lasting for about 100 days. This festival features partying, dances, good things to eat and fireworks along the beaches around Torre Pedrera and Miramare. The Rimini Jazz Fest kicks off in the middle of June and tourists can gather along the beaches to enjoy the concerts.
July to September
In July, Borgo San Giovanni is the festival that features crafts, artwork, shows, music and food traditional to Rimini.
The Ferragosto in August has partying and concerts, celebrating the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. A fashion show called the "Riviera delle Mode" is also included in August Rimini festivals and shows off the top designers located in Piazza Cavour.
During September, the Borgo San Giuliano is Rimini’s most famous traditional festival that relives people and events significant to Rimini in the past. The Music Festival of Sagra Malatestiana features the top classical musicians and conductors.

The Lucincitta in November is the lighting of Christmas lights. The Christmas fairs in December feature many programs that are held throughout Rimini.
